B.Tech in Automobile Engineering ( 4 years course )

Modern automotive engineering, along with aerospace engineering and marine engineering, is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles, buses and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.


Course Details:

NRI Institute of Technology, Hyderabad affiliated to JNTUH offering B.Tech in Automobile Engineering a 4 year course started in 2011. During the 4 year course students will explore Automobile Engineering, Automotive Engines, Dynamics of Machinery, Design of Machine Members, Vehicle Dynamics, Automobile Air Conditioning, Automotive Electical and Autotronics, Automotive Chassis and Suspension, CAD/CAM, Automotive Pollution and Control, Alternative Fuels for Automobiles, Vehicle Transport Management, Product Design and Assembly Automation, Maintenance and Safety Engineering, Principles of Entrepreneurship, Automation in Manufacturing, Renewable Energy Sources, Plant Layout and Material Handling, Industrial Orientated Projects, Trainings, Seminars and many more.



Departmental Activities



NRITech is a Collegiate Club of SAEINDIA. B.Tech - Automobile/Mechanical Engineering students will Design and Build an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to compete in BAJA at NATRIP, Pithambur, Indore, MP.

NRITech B.Tech - 1st & IInd year Automobile / Mechanical Engineeringwill Design & Build a Go-Kart and compete in National Go Kart Championships at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore.
